Getting started with LetterScript

Sign in, find your way around, and run your first transaction in a few minutes.

LetterScript turns a pile of transaction paperwork into a structured deal: it reads your documents, extracts the key facts, matches them against the point-of-sale disclosures the property requires, and puts the deadlines on a calendar.

Go to the app and choose Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft, or Continue with Apple — with a social sign-in there's no password to manage, and your provider account is your identity. Prefer email? You can also sign up with an email and password instead. You may briefly see Checking your browser for bots… the first time; that's an automatic security check, not something you need to act on.

Find your way around

After signing in you land on Transactions — the home for every deal you're working. From the top bar you can:

  • Search anything — press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) to search transactions, documents, conversations, and these help articles.
  • Switch between light and dark mode with the sun/moon icon.
  • Get help — the ? icon opens this help center or a direct line to support.
  • Open your profile and workspace settings from your avatar.
  • Buy transactions — the Purchase tab opens the pricing page whenever you need to add more.

Your first deal, in three steps

  1. Create your first deal — start from any California address. See Create a deal.
  2. Upload your documents — drop in the contract and disclosures; LetterScript OCRs and extracts them. See Upload documents.
  3. See your deadlines — contingencies and the close date land on your calendar automatically. See Deadlines and the timeline.

Not ready to use your own deal? Explore the sample deal instead — it's a fully-worked transaction you can poke at and delete.
