You can permanently delete your LetterScript account and all associated data at any time — right inside the app, on the web, or by emailing us. This page explains each way and exactly what gets removed.
Delete your account from the mobile app
- Open the LetterScript app on your iPhone or Android device.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.
Delete your account on the web
- Sign in at app.letterscript.com.
- Open your Profile page from the account menu.
- Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account and confirm by typing DELETE.
Request deletion without the app
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, use our contact form and choose the Privacy & Data request — or email privacy@letterscript.com from the address on your account. Data requests require email verification so we can confirm you own the account, then we delete it for you.
What gets deleted
When you delete your LetterScript account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — your name and email address.
- All of your workspaces.
- Every document you uploaded and all data extracted from them — deal records, disclosure checklists, timelines, and chat history.
- Your billing customer record.
What's kept, and for how long
- Your data is removed from our live systems immediately.
- It then ages out of routine encrypted backups within 14 days.
- We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, billing or transaction records needed for tax and legal compliance. Any such records are kept only as long as required and remain encrypted and access-restricted.
We never sell your data or share it with agents, lenders, or other parties to your transactions. You have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). For more detail, see our Privacy Policy, or email privacy@letterscript.com with any questions.
